My objective as a writer, filmmaker, and photographer is to capture subtleties, make connections, & introduce people to new perspectives. I believe in the ability for media to affect change, and I want to help you spread your message.
I'm a Montana girl at heart -- I grew up near Bozeman, MT & attended Prescott College in Prescott, AZ in 2009. In 2010, I transferred to the University of Montana in Missoula to complete my B.A. in English. During my undergrad studies, I lived abroad in Salamanca, Spain & Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. I also helped put together a short documentary & passed the DELE Spanish fluency exam.
In 2013, I finished my degree & moved to Portland, OR, where I worked for Logical Position, a digital marketing company. As the company's staff writer, I put together case studies, blog articles, PR materials, & business proposals for the company. I worked closely with clients to help them improve their online visibility while developing my own writing toolkit.
Since deciding to go freelance in fall of 2015, I have been able to work on various media-related projects, including editing some film and managing marketing strategy for Kings Road Media; organizing a screening, writing copy, managing social media, and editing a short film for a feature-length documentary called A Place to Stand; writing copy for 45 Degrees North, directing a music video and capturing photos for Shakewell, contributing to Dance Papi, and so much more!
I'm always on the lookout for unique & interesting projects. Have something in mind? Let's talk.
Looking forward to working with you!
Look for more Spring 2016.
